Zomb Torrents – Lossless music and DVD Videos tracker – Signups open

It was only a day ago we posted about JamToThis, a lossless music and music video tracker. Zomb Torrents is another private torrent tracker which tracks a lot of lossless music and DVD videos of live music, concerts and the likes. It actually has a lot more content and members than JamToThis and has been online for a long time as well. You can find and download a lot of lossless music in SHN (Shorten), FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) and APE (Monkey's Audio) format from Zomb Torrents. In addition, videos of live shows, concerts and DVDs can also be found on this tracker. ZT allows user uploads (even videos of user recorded concerts) so you are bound to find a lot of unique content on this tracker not found elsewhere.

Currently there are more than 105000 registered users on this tracker and around 3500 active torrents. Zomb Torrents has a better search function than most other trackers out there; you can search lossless music by artist, song or band name and you can search videos by name, venue, location or title. ZT has an active forum where a great community of members trade and share music everyday.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 v8.0.0.506 + Goodies

About 3 months ago, we featured Kaspersky Anti-Virus v8.0.0.454 and Kaspersky Internet Security v8.0.0.454 on FILEnetworks Blog. Just recently Kaspersky have released a new build (8.0.0.506) of the security suite with several enhancements to detection technology and a number of other bugfixes. As always, upgrading to the latest version is recommended. I've been using this app for the last 3 months (after parting ways with ESET's NOD32) and so far it hasn't let me down. Kaspersky has killed every single piece of malware that has come my way. If you have noticed, some security products such as AVG have a lot of false positives specially when it comes to clean key generators and cracks. I've experienced a lot less number of false positives with Kaspersky.

Anyway if you have noticed, the title of this post says KIS 2009 v8.0.0.506 + Goodies. In addition to the KIS 2009 installer, it has some nice tools such as KeyViewer, KeyFinder and also a list of sites where you can find keys for Kaspersky products. If you have a machine that does not have an internet connection and rely on offline updates, you'd have to stick with v7.0 (To know where to get offline updates for other Anti Virus software, read this article). Version 2009 (8.0) of Kaspersky security apps do not support offline updating (yet).

QuickPWN 2.2 – Jailbreak your iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPod Touch firmware v2.2

Latest version of the popular iPhone jailbreak utility, QuickPWN 2.2 has been released. QuickPWN 2.2 can be used to jailbreak the firmware on iPhone, iPhone 3G and the first generation iPod touch devices (that is, firmware version 2.2). There are many tools out there which can be used to jailbreak the iPhone or iPod touch and QuickPWN is one of the most popular mainly due to it's user friendly interface. It's developed by The DevTeam and both Mac and Windows versions of QuickPWN 2.2 have been released.

Genuine Apple iPhone and iPod Touch firmware does not allow installation of 3rd party applications or games by default. A jailbreak is simply a hack used on the file system which once applied allows users to install 3rd party software and games on the device. Download Playstation 2 (PS2) and PSP games from PS2P torrent tracker – Signups open

PS2-P is a private torrent tracker that specializes in Playstation 2 (PS2) console games. It's a fairly new tracker but it already has one of the best PS2 torrents collections in the BitTorrent scene. PS2-P does tracks individual (and newer) games but the site's main attraction is without a doubt the FULLSETS. FULLSETS are huge packs (usually over 100GB) containing a gazillion games in each one of them. Although the main focus is on PS2 games, that's not all PS2-P tracks. There are several FULLSETS of PSP (Playstation Portable) games available as well. Apart from the games, this tracker has some of the best available PS2, PSP emulators, Hacks, Mods, DVD Covers and other Tools for the Playstation consoles.

PS2-P has opened public signups several times so far. They have however been setting very small user limits such as 777 so not many were able to get in. It's open for signups again – we do not for how long or till how many users. Open signups may close anytime so get in while you can.
