Private Tracker Watch : Scene-Base signups open

Scene-Base.net is a private torrent tracker with General/0Day content. In other words it tracks movies, software, games, music, TV shows, E-books, other general categories and zero day releases. At the time this post is written, Scene-Base tracks close to 1000 active torrents (it seems that the site automatically purges dead torrents). The exact number of users on this tracker is unknown.

Although the site's name is Scene-Base, it's not a scene releases only tracker. Releases by P2P groups such as DEViSE are also indexed. Apart from that they have some good unique packs, best examples being Scene-Base Weekly MP3 packs. Almost all of these packs are on freeleech.

There is a bonus points system present on this tracker. You can earn bonus points by seeding downloaded torrents and then you can use earned points to buy upload credit, VIP status and other goodies. Fraps 2.9.6 Build 7637 – Capture video, take screenshots and perform benchmarks

Fraps is a hugely popular application among gamers. It's a software that allows users to capture game play footage and create videos, take screen captures and do performance benchmarks. We posted about this software and described it in detail about two weeks ago. This post however features the latest available version of Fraps (v2.9.6 build 7637) which includes a number of bugfixes over the previous build. One thing that we forgot to mention in our previous article is that when you have Fraps recording in the background, the game may lose a few FPS (usually not noticeable) due to the added resource consumption.

Developer Description

Fraps is a universal Windows application that can be used with games using DirectX or OpenGL graphic technology. In its current form Fraps performs many tasks and can best be described as:

MixFiend Torrent Tracker – Download mixtapes for free

We have previously posted about private torrent trackers and forums such as Tapedown (Open), Keitex Forum (Open) and Libble.com from where you could download English music and mixtapes for free. MixFiend is another private torrent tracker which specializes in the same niche. It actually is bigger (in terms of user base) and appears to have more content than all of the aforementioned sites. At the time this post is written, MixFiend tracks over 15000 torrents and has a user base in excess of 125000 members.

As for the content on MixFiend, you can find music related to a number of different genres such as Hip Hop (a lot of them), R&B, Rap, Classic and so on (see categories below for full list). The have some great DJ collections, instrumentals and even some bonus DVDs and music videos.

At a glance, MixFiend's interface may look a little unusual. Actually it's pretty simple and I found it very easy to use. Like most other BitTorrent trackers, MixFiend too has a forum. From what I have seen it's pretty active and seems to be an excellent community to be part of.
