DVD Image of GTA 4 leaks to BitTorrent, DRM remains uncracked

A lot of PC game pirates were no doubt waiting for this to happen. A Clone DVD of Grand Theft Auto 4 (GTA 4) has leaked to a well known public BitTorrent tracker. From what it looks like, the leaked files seem to be untouched copies (clones) of original game DVDs. GTA 4 comes in two DVD discs. Images of both discs have leaked and the download is a whopping 13.8GB. It appears that the leaked release is a Multilanguage version of the game with English, French, German, Italian and Spanish languages (Multi 5). Whoever uploaded the torrent has included several screenshots of game folders (in windows explorer) as well as a screenshot of the setup program to prove that it's the real deal.

Anyway, as we previously reported, this game is protected by SecuROM DRM. Even if you download the leaked release, there is currently no way to play the game. The game will install just fine but to actually play, you need to activate it online. As mentioned above this is an untouched copy of the original DVD with no modified exe or crack included to circumvent SecuROM protection. However, SecuROM protection has previously been cracked by groups such as RELOADED and non scene individuals such as DarkC0der so it might actually be a matter of time before this one is cracked. Anyway a lot of people (over 15000 leechers already lol) seem to be downloading the leaked image so that they could play it the moment a crack becomes available.

Two popular private torrent trackers dedicated entirely to software have just opened signups. Pro Audio Torrents specializes in music related software, music editors and other music related extras such as sound effects while Appzuniverse specializes in Windows and Mac software ranging from operating systems to office automation suites.

Both these trackers are known to open signups on the 1st of every month and the open signup usually last only one day. There are just under 20 hours remaining (at time of this post) so you may want to hurry (unless you want to wait till next month). UltraISO Premium 9.3.1.2633 : Create, Edit and Convert Image Files

UltraISO is a CD and DVD image editor software. You can create, edit and convert a number of image file formats. One very useful feature I found with this software was that it could edit image files on the fly. Say you want to remove a file from an ISO image; just open it with UltraISO, edit and remove the file and save the image. There is no need to build the image from scratch again. This works the other way too; you can extract selected files from a disk image through UltraISO (something similar to mounting an image). SciFiTorrents – Science fiction movies, TV shows, E-books and other torrent downloads

SciFiTorrents is a private torrent tracker with a lot of Science Fiction (SciFi) themed content. You can find a fair amount of SciFi movies, TV Series, E-Books and even some Anime. You may not have heard about this tracker before but judging by the site's stats, it's quite popular; There are nearly 7000 registered members on SciFiTorrents and it currently tracks over 3500 torrents. There are both scene and non scene releases on this tracker. Bulk of the scene released content comprises of latest episodes of SciFi themed TV series and movie.

SciFiTorrents tracks a fair amount of unique packs. In addition, they have some classic and rare SciFi themed movies and TV Shows as well. You can find most of the packs and classic movies/TV Shows under Collections/Box and SciFi Classics categories.

Like any other tracker, SciFiTorrents is not perfect. Some of the torrents on this tracker have only one seeder. In such cases, the torrent will still be downloadable but download speeds may suffer. Also, the layout of SciFiTorrentsis not the best one around (this is my personal opinion) but it's still usable.

Smart Projects ISOBuster is without a doubt one of the best optical disk data recovery software currently available. I've been using it for the past two years and can personally recommend it to anyone in need. IsoBuster can recover data from damaged or scratched optical disks with ease. From older Video CDs and data CDs to modern Blu-Ray disks, IsoBuster supports a wide variety of optical disk formats. Just insert a CD, DVD or a Blu-Ray disk and mount it in ISOBuster. You will get access the disk's file system, session details and track information. If a part of the disk is damaged beyond recovery, chances are that you will still be able to recover undamaged clusters (this works great with some video files). You can sometimes access session details lost due to malfunctioning burning software or hardware. Of course, don't expect miracles from ISOBuster; If you insert a disk that is ripped in half ISOBuster wouldn't be able to do squat with it.
